Today is babysitting-the-monsters/packing-for-Bora/last-minute-errands day

But before any of that, a recap of the holiday break that was.

To kick things off, there was, of course, block A’s Christmas get together @ Derf’s. My secret Santa, Kate, got me blue and white eyeliner pencils which I’ve been using pretty much everyday since. Yay! And hopefully, my kris kringle baby, Mikee, liked the leather rucksack and Batgirl underwear I got her. Hihi.

The next day was supposed to be the Blockockock Christmas party, but since that didn’t push through, I ended up tagging along with my favorite drinking buddies, Tommy and Reg to Franco’s and Amber. So I know there was a lot of 151, and I hear there was a screeching and squealing in the car, random slapping, throwing up, and countless countless countless embarrassing things I won’t even bother trying to remember. HAHA (excuse the bad photo, it’s the only one I could find).

Then there were a couple of shoot days for the A-Fair and project High Hills (photo below). Hahaha. And a couple of chill Cantina nights with the gang, which (save for the occasional awkward moment) is always always always a good time.

Then there was my Verna day. Which was the best since I haven’t seen her since god knows when. Then Christmas eve and Christmas day and post-Christmas celebrations with la familiaaa. Then Agave @ the Fort with, again, some of my favorite people and some pretty awesome new found LGV friends. Hihi. And of course, last night’s beautiful Cuevas-Dera wedding. Which pretty much got me stuck at 2 am babysitting these 5 little monsters. This is them, the morning after with their big breakfast. Cutiepies.

Don’t get me wrong, I had a great time. But I really would’ve much rather been all the way at Alabang with my BFF babies for our Great Escape. Because I miss these girls like insanityyy. But I swear I will see them all soonest and I love them all like nothing else (technically, this is a semi-sen10rs photo, but it’s the closest thing I have to a recent Bench photo — that’s how lame I’ve been).

Quick commercial: Meet my baby girl, Noelle Javellana! It’s her birthday today. I love her to the moon and back and to like the next galaxy. Heee.

Anyway. I should really get to packing (a.k.a. I’m so lazy, someone please pack for me), since my bikini bag’s all I’ve fixed so far. Teehee.

For the next 5 days, and to meet the new year, I’ll be living it up at the beach. Woo, stoked for Bora. So, concluding thoughts: I re-watched Rent (for the gabajillionth time) and got this song re-stuck in my head. Given that 2011 is coming to a close and everyone’s right about ready to greet the new year, this only seems fitting.

No other choice, no other way. No day but today.
